Booked The House for a birthday treat and what a treat we had. Food was exceptional. Perfect portion size and tasted fantastic. Would strongly recommend the Beef Wellington. Staff very pleasant and welcoming, typical of a really well run family business.

"This place is a great discovery. I'm not a steak connoisseur but this was the best steak I've ever eaten. I had a fillet steak and my partner had a sirloin steak, both were cooked to perfection. We both had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, the sauce was delicious. The surroundings are cosy and the staff efficient and polite. Being situated off the beaten track gives this Brighton restaurant a lovely, secluded atmosphere and I'd highly recommend it. A very nice meal."

Attentive but not pushy service. Lovely setting. Salmon risotto delicious as was the fish with the chunkiest crispy chips ever

A hidden gem...we will definitely return. Came with 4 friends and all the food was top notch. Great service.
